Dusty Spurgin

I’ve been fishing since I was big enough to carry a pole and watch a bobber. I’ve always been very competitive and the combination of fishing and my competitive nature led me to tournament fishing. I fished my first tournament at the age of 16 and have been “hooked” from that point on. I've been very fortunate to have been successful at local, state and regional levels with multiple wins individually and in team events. Ive also been blessed to have won multiple Anglers of the Year titles with the most prestigious of those being 2017 AOY in Bass Champs with my team partner Garrick McPherson. 2017 was a very good year, winning another very prestigious team tournament ( coming back from 8lbs down going into day two), called The Kings of Cowtown. This is a grueling, two day tournament fished on 3 different lakes and draws some of the best bass fishermen in the DFW metroplex.
